Content Notes: S4 AU, Peter takes off with Martin. SFW with noncon captivity and micro/macro.
Once Tundra has left the harbor, Peter decides to call Elias in prison.
"I hope you are well, Elias."
"Somehow, I doubt you really that." Peter is thrilled to hear the barely contained rage in Elias's voice. "Do you understand what grave mistake you have made?"
"If you're trying to convince me to return to you, you are not doing a great job." Peter hopes it's driving Elias crazy not to be able to sense him. Salesa's camera, which will keep Tundra safe from the Eye from now on, is truly a gift; Peter can only hope that should he run into Salesa again, he won't kill him for borrowing it without his permission. "Not that I would. I have better things on my mind now."
Elias exhales slowly. "I thought you were a man of your word."
"If you thought so, it's your mistake." Peter grins. "Be seeing you."
"Peter!" Elias starts to say, but Peter hangs up.
Drawing in a deep breath, Peter puts the phone down on his desk and takes his newest treasure into his hand. It's a die, although not just any die; it's made of glass and there is a tiny ship inside it, detailed to an extent that is quite unnecessary in Peter's opinion, but he hopes the creature on its deck appreciates all the effort put into its surroundings. He brings the die in front of his face.
"Look at you," he says fondly.
He loves to watch the creature race around the deck, looking over the railing at the fake sea below, trying to open the doors although there is nothing behind them, even circling the mast, as if contemplating climbing it. But once it realizes that Peter is looking at it, the creature starts to wave its arms in despair. Peter can't hear a single sound through the glass, but he knows it's screaming.
"Let me out! Please, let me out, Peter, please!"
Smiling, Peter brings the die to his lips, pressing a kiss against the smooth glass.
He puts the die back on his desk. He will wait for few days more to make sure that Tundra really is under the influence of the camera and out of the Eye's range, but after that, he can rest assured Elias will never bother him again. He is sure Elias will get his apocalypse one way or another anyway; Peter won't have to be around to see it. He can be with his little treasure, his Martin.
If Martin agrees to be his, Peter will give him his name, his form back. If not- well, Peter will have something to decorate his shelf with.
